The intent of this lodge is about hope: hope for a brighter future, and hope of healing personal, family or community wounds.

We are also celebrating the rebuild of our lodge, and there will be a community feast afterwards. Bring a dish to pass. All are welcome!

Autumn Olive or Russian Olive trees are beautiful, fragrant trees with delicious and nutritious berries. They are also a highly invasive species. They crowd out native plants making the land unusable for other plants, animals and humans.

Defend our beautiful ceremonial native trees and plants (and to give beauty to the land that nourishes us so wonderfully) by joining the Russian Olive Removal Party on the Michigan Ceremonial Land.

Autumn Olives are beautiful, fragrant trees with delicious and nutritious berries. They are also a highly invasive species. They crowd out native plants making the land unusable for other plants, animals and humans.

For those of you interested in joining the Autumn Olive Removal Party on the Michigan Ceremonial Land, this will occur on May 25th (Sunday). If you are able join in the defense of our beautiful ceremonial native trees and plants (and to give beauty to the land that nourishes us so wonderfully),

Loppers
Hand Loppers
Work Gloves
Drinking Water
Insect Repellant
Sunscreen
Lunch and healthy snacks

We also need people who are willing to help prepare our community meal for the day.  If this is what you are interested in doing, please let us know.

For those who will be working outside, I recommend you wear heavy duty long-sleeved shirts and long pants. Autumn Olives have thick sharp thorns that can easily pierce and snag thin clothing.

We will finish our day with a community meal. Let me know if you have any food allergies or intolerances. Bring your favorite beverages for self and sharing!

Come join us as we make the Land ready for Ceremony this summer!

Starting at 10am on Saturday May 24th we will be grooming, repairing, and beautifying the Land. This day will provide an incredible chance to align with the magic and beauty of this very special ceremonial space. No experience or tools necessary. Housing is available if you want to stay over (see below).

We'll end the day with a celebratory evening meal.

• When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary needs or restrictions.

• We are looking for one or two volunteers to help with food prep. Let us know if you are interested.

• Please bring a cash donation ($5 suggestion) for the feast.

 Everyone should BRING:

• Water

• Work gloves

• Rain gear

• Snacks/lunch

• Bug spray and Sunscreen

• Beverage of choice for the feast

TOOLS if you have them (but there are always plenty on site if you don’t:)

·        Leaf rake

·        Loppers

·        Shovel

·        Leaf blowers

·        Chainsaw

We also need help with preparing our wonder feast. Please let us know if your desires are more in alignment with this giveaway!

HOUSING: Work starts at 10am on Saturday. There are a number of housing options if you would like to arrive Friday night, and/or stay over Saturday night rather than drive home after the feast. Please let us know if you are interested so arrangements can be made.

Can't make it Saturday? Join us Sunday at 9am! We'll be taking out the invasive Autumn Olive trees taking over the land. Or if you really love the outdoors, stay for both!

Good Day Dear Folks,

I am pouring a Purification Lodge in the tradition of the Sweet Medicine Sundance Path, and I invite you to join me in this Ceremony of Physical and Spiritual Purification/Transformation.

The INTENT

    1.    South Purification Lodge: heart’s desire, trust and innocence, intimate fluidity

    2.    Dedication and Consecration of the Lodge: we will be the first to have ceremony in this newly built Lodge.

    3.    Each of us will have the opportunity to Dedicate (commit to a purpose), Consecrate (making or declaring something), and make Sacred (connected with God) ourselves personally and collectively in the Purification Lodge.

There is something magical in the Spring Rains that lightens the heart, stirs the mind, warms and transforms the body and feeds the Spirit.   Think Cherry Blossoms and Magnolia Blossoms.  Think Daffodils, Irises and Tulips-all in their own way blooming.  It is an impeccable time for us to look inside and see what is blooming in each of us and then align our hearts, bodies, minds and spirits with what we are becoming.  Is the fruit of your blossom this year ready? How about the harvester? Are you ready to receive what is ripening in you? Give pause to contemplate “what’s next.” Are you ready to be seen, known, loved unconditionally?  The Lover, Lovee and Loving.  SOUTH is Heart Felt, Who am I and what is my Heart’s Desire. Take it into the ceremony and listen. There is room for you, so Give yourself the Gift of this Ceremony to experience and contemplate what is your next ripening and harvesting.

A current CPR is a gateway requirement of every gate way. If you have not had one in the last 2 years you are due. Join the EFWS in keeping our gateway current and being able to help those close to us.

Conducted by Jody Borchard of the American Heart Association IN PERSON. She has taught CPR for over 12 years. Specifically, it is the Healthcare Provider Class that includes adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use. Jody will provide the mannequins - adult and child sizes, and CERTIFICATION upon completion.

Are you feeling a little overwhelmed by your spiritual path? Has spirituality become another thing you gotta do, another item on your already ridiculously long to-do-list? Are you feeling maybe that practices that once sparked growth are feeling stagnant now? Has the checking of the boxes become more important than the refinement of your character? Or maybe you wish you had these problems because, dang it, you still haven't found a spiritual practice that truly speaks to you!? 😅 If any of these are true for you,  you may want to join us in our purification lodge on Sat, Apr 5 at 11:00am if this is your first purification lodge with us -noon if you are not new to this ceremony, in Linden, MI.

This ceremony is designed to give our spirits a tune-up, following the teachings of the Balanced Choreography of Energy. We'll ask the Sacred Powers to help us engage questions like, Is our understanding and practice of spirituality serving us?... Are we getting in our own way from enjoying the hope that the Mystery naturally provides?... Is our speed of learning serving our growth?  

This event is open to everyone and people who have never been in purification lodges are our guests of honor 🥰! A Shamanic Purification Lodge is a sacred ceremony that is open to all men and women that desire to connect with the elements, the worlds of Grandmother Earth, to pray (for self, life and others), to purify (emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually), and who choose to grow and evolve as humans. The alchemy of this ceremony creates a safe space for us to let go of what no longer serves us and connect with Spirit to receive guidance and healing.

The specific theme for this lodge is aligned with the energetic of the approaching spring season. Spring is a time of rebirth for Grandmother Earth following the rest and rejuvenation of winter. In the lodge we will tap into that energy to support the awaking and birth of our heart’s desires. Come join us in a circle of reflections so that we can make a jump in our evolution on a personal and collective level.

No Cost:

There is no charge for ceremony however medicine gifts for James and the Fire Crew to create balance for what you receive, and donations to cover the costs of the Lodge are welcome.
